- Perform database backups and develop backup strategies.
- Configure and optimize databases for optimal performance.
- Manage database changes and ensure proper change management practices.
- Conduct security checks and implement necessary measures to safeguard databases.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team regarding database-related issues
Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in DBA
- Experience in managing and operating PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Oracle databases (including RAC)
- SQL and PL/SQL development skills
- Database management skills such as data modeling, indexing, partitioning, backup, and recovery
- Database performance tuning and monitoring capabilities >> essential
- Ability to tune SQL (checking execution plans, analyzing, rewriting, using hints, etc.)
- Experience in database security and access control management
- Nice to have:
- Expertise in SQL tuning and optimization (e.g., query analysis, indexing, caching)
- Having development experience
- Having experience in using open source databases and search engines.
- Having experience in database operation in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, etc.)
